What is the best way to stay healthy?
That is the question asked by all. We have always thought that eating healthy food, daily exercise, getting plenty of sleep, taking vitamin supplements and going to see your doctor on a regular basis are the best way to be healthy, but that is not always completely correct.
Lissa Rankin, author of Mind Over Medicine, says the only way to be healthy is to be happy with ourselves, feel good about ourselves. Disease is the latest manifestation of other situations in our lives that cause us harm and keep us from being happy. Bad relationships, unhappy inter-personal relationships, bad family environment, low self-esteem, unhealthy job, economic problems and other situations that do not let us be happy, also don't let us to be healthy.
All of these situations cause us stress and put us in what we call the state of "Fight or Flight" response. A person passes through this state, response to stress, 50 times a day. In this state our capacity for self-healing and cell regeneration, is disabled. The more times we face situations of unhappiness as mentioned, more times we go into this state of "Fight or Flight" response state and our body will be more likely to get sick. Changing these situations is up to us.
We should start with applying "consciously", the 5 principles of Reiki. Just for today I will not be angry, just for today I will not worry, just for today I will be kind to every living thing, just for today I will do my work honestly and will do it with joy and finally, just for today I will be grateful to the universe for everything it gives me.
